I want to thank all the women that attended the Pre-Season Kick Off. It was a successful night and fun was had by all. We introduced some of our new plans for the year. We are offering a mentor program for ladies who are new to Dellwood or are new to golf. Mentors will be available to play with ladies who either have yet to meet members to play with or for beginner golfers who would like to play with another woman who is knowledgeable of the course and can give tips and advice as they play. We have developed a performance sheet, like a report card, which can be used to help any golfer keep track of their good and not so good shots as they play. Also, our teaching Pro Chris, will be offering Free golf clinics on Tuesday nights and Golf Clinics 101 on Thursday nights for the ladies. We are encouraging all women to play on Tuesday nights, even if they do not have an established handicap. We want Tuesdays to be a fun night to spend with the women of Dellwood and a relaxing night of golf with no expectations.
Remember to start signing up for our Ladies events as soon as possible. We have everything posted on ForeTees. Our Traveling team events start soon and we are hosting the Challenge at Dellwood on May 23. We also have put together a pink flyer, that is located in the locker room, with information on how to use ForeTees, rules and etiquette on golf, and our complete schedule of events planned for Tuesday and Thursday leagues. We hope these will be helpful for all women golfers. I hope to see you all on the golf course.
